I've been feeling a little low of late, my self esteem has plummeted and I've been mostly hiding from the Internet. So, imagine my delight when Kezzie suggested, as she was in my neck of the woods this week, that we meet up! This cheered me no end and it was all arranged.
Sweetly, Kezzie came to me and I met her at the train station. I felt a little flustered as it was quite nippy and a wee bit overcast when I set off and by the time her train came in it was all blue skies and sunshine and my jacket made me feel bulky and rather blah.
Anyway, I spotted her straight away as she came down the platform, she looked an absolute picture.
And I am pleased to report, that she is one of the nicest people I have ever met, hands down, she is absolutely lovely and I had a wonderful time with her. We chatted for ages.
We first headed to Wetherspoons for a drink and then moved on to the Physic Garden for some photos and finished her visit off with a nip in and out of some charity shops and then it was time to wave goodbye.
I am embarrassed to say that I forgot the gift I had for Kezzie and only remembered when I was halfway there, so I shall have to pop it in the post. I was very lucky to have a gift of my own, this pretty scarf and earrings.

Awwww, you are so nice!!!! I had a fab time too and loved meeting you. Who'd have thought we had not met before, it felt so easy to talk to you!!! Awwww, don't worry about gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm recovering from finding a spider in E's spare room having mild histrionics from it leaping down on me when I tried to trap it in a mug. Luckily it has been relocated.to the garden! X
