    1. Thank you! I've only one piece with bakelite and that's a rather bohemian German necklace x

  4. Cute jewelry. A big trend in NYC right now are necklaces made from old watches. None of them actually work; they're used as decoration.

  5. Your jewelry collection is lovely. The 1950's brooch is very much like one I have that belonged to my mum...glittery charm to the max!

  6. It might be possible to replace the diamante in that deco brooch. How tiny are the stones?

    1. I'll have to measure them and get Andy to double check, as I never trust my judgement!

Trying to do it now and am going slightly cross eyed! There are three different sizes missing I think, not sure if I should be measuring the stones or the hole they go into as sometimes they seem to differ. And now my hands are shaking which may explain the differing size! I'm just going to wait for Andy to get home! xx

  7. Lovely vintage jewellery, Melanie. My favourites are the 1950s brooch, the art deco one (I guess you would be able to replace the missing stones), the 1930s glass necklace, which is sooo pretty, and the faux opal/faux diamond earrings. xxx

  8. Such magnificently beautiful pies! I can't possibly pick a favourite. Each is unique, glamorous and positively teeming with yesteryear charm. What a stellar jewelry collection you have, dear Melanie.

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
